Alyaksandr Lukashenka could see “Pressball”’s letter but has not replied yet
The open letter sent by the editor-in-chief of “Pressball” Uladzimir Berazhkou to Alyaksandr Lukashenka was probably seen by the President. It concerned accreditation of the edition at the Olympic Games. The head of the President’s press service Pavel Lyohki admits such a possibility.
Let us remind you that “Pressball” was deprived of accreditation by the executive committee of the national Olympic Committee headed by Lukashenka. However, he was not present at that meeting.
That is why the editor-in-chief of the independent edition decided to ask for help taking into account that a similar incident took place eight years ago. However, Alyaksandr Lukashenka has not replied to Berazhkou’s letter this time.
"The appeals and replies have not reached the President’s press service if there were any”, - says Pavel Lyohki.
According to him, they put a big pile of central newspapers and press reviews on Lukashenka’s table every morning. The letter was published in “Pressball” so it is possible that the leader of the state could read it.
"It is possible that he saw it”, - says Lyohki.
