Attorney General refuses to comment on investigation of July 4 blast
The Belarusian Attorney General Ryhor Vasilevich refused to comment on the investigation of the explosion that took place in Minsk on July 4 during his conversation with journalists on July 19.
In particular, the conversation was about the interrogation of the population which could cause certain inconveniences for Belarusian citizens and about the two Photo-fits of suspects the existence of which could not be explained by the Ministry of Internal Affaires.
R.Vasіlevіch claimed that the investigation was being conducted for the good of the society. That is why Belarusian citizens should be tolerant about the actions of the police. Policemen are working extremely hard in order to find the criminal, noted the Attorney General.
The Attorney General refused to announce the number of people detained during the investigation of the criminal case. At the same time he noted that nobody had said that the person who had organized the explosion was among the detained.
