Belarus at Eurovision: 60 candidates

October 22 was the application deadline. The majority of applications were sent at the last moment.

There were about 40 candidates on Monday evening and the number has increased to about 60 today. The band N.R.M. would also like to represent Belarus at Eurovision. They sent their application on the last day. The Belarusian State Broadcasting company learnt it from social networks - the rockers' application has not been delivered yet. The names of the other candidates have not been mentioned. But it is known that there are young and famous singers and even last year's semi-finalists and singers from France and Greece among them.

The judges will have to choose up to 15 semi-finalists by October 31. The semi-final will be organized on November 16. If no worthy candidates are found, the semi-final may be cancelled and only the final may be organized on December 7.
