Belarus has lost dozens of million dollars due to Polish strike

The strike of Polish customs officers that caused queues at the Belarus-Poland border has cost Belarus dozens of millions dollars in economic losses, said Syarhey Nyahrey, the chief of foreign economic relations department at the Ministry of Transport and Communications of Belarus.
He said that one idle day in the queue costs a transport company $300 per day per vehicle.

The Belarusian economy is also losing due to the reduction of transit and trade, reports Interfax.

According to the Belarusian Association of International Transporters, over 500 companies are incurring losses in the Brest and Hrodna regions.
