Belarus increased military spending by $22mn in 2017

Belarus increased its military spending by $22 million from $506 million in 2016 up to $528 million in 2017, accordng to the annual report of the International Institute for Strategic Studies. Belarusian news portal tut.by notes Belarus had $55 of military spending per capita last year.
The United States top the list of countries with the largest military spending in 2017 (over $602 billion). Russia spent over $61 billion; Poland - nearly $10 billion; Ukraine - $2.7 billion; Lithuania - $816 million; Latvia - $507 million.
