Belarus tests new anti-flu medicine
Specialists from the Institute of Pharmacology and Biochemistry at the National Acadeny of Sciences of Belarus together with the experts from the pharmaceutical state company Academpharma and the Ministry of Health have developed a new locally-made medicine Flustop. The new medicine is indicated for preventing and treating acute respiratory virus infections, including А/H1N1. The experts maintain Flustop is as efficient as Tamiflu.
The medicine is now being tested at Hospital No 4 and af the Clinical Pharmacology Department of the Belarus State Medical university.
The new anti-flu medicine is planned to be put into production within the next month. Flustop will be supplied to pharmacies and clinics across the country.
