Belarusian “Greens” nominate Yury Hlushakou for presidential elections
The senior deputy of a Belarusian party “The Greens”, 43-year-old Yury Hlushakou, has claimed that he is going to take part in the presidential elections as a candidate. The party leader Aleh Novikau has informed ERB that “The Greens” will participate in the opposition’s selection of a single candidate:
Novikau: “Of course, all of us are consulting now. Nobody is ready to take the final decision. So the situation is vague and everything will depend on circumstances… We are contacting each other and meet from time to time. Our step has not aroused any misunderstanding of other political subjects so far”.
It is informed that “The Greens” will highlight social and ecological topics at the elections.
