BNF refuses from “Chernobyl Way”
The BNF party has refused to organize the traditional opposition action “Chernobyl Way” in Minsk this year. The administration of the Front will go to the regions affected by Chernobyl Disaster instead, reports the UDF website. According to the head of the party Alyaksei Yanukevich, it is time to change the format of the action and do something new.
The adminisatrtion of the BNF is going to take part in improving monuments to alienated villages. Party members will also present the material assistance collected by activists to inhabitants of the affected regions.
The BNF has also urged all Belarusian citizens to demand to transfer the money collected at the state subbotnik on April 24 to the accounts of Mahileu and Homel Oncological Centres.
