CEC: Election successful, turnout reaches 52.49%
As of 2 p.m., 52.49% of Belarusian citizens have cast their votes. The turnout is 51-59% in all the provinces. However, more than half of Minsk voters have not visited polling stations yet – the turnout is 41.93%. Thus, the parliamentary election in Belarus is successful, the Central Election Commission reports.
The turnout reached 31.29% in five days of the early vote. This is a new record set at parliamentary elections in our country.
