Charlie Hebdo’s next issue will be printed at 2.5 million copies
Charlie Hebdo is about to release its second issue since the terrorist attacks on January 7th.
Paris, February 23th 2015 – Charlie Hebdo is about to release its second issue since the terrorist attacks on January 7th.
The issue #1179 of Charlie Hebdo will be published this Wednesday February 25th 2015. The cover has been drawn by the cartoonist Luz and 30 contributors have participated to this issue, which will be 16 pages long.
It will be released at 2.5 million copies, among which 240,000 copies for subscribers and 250,000 for overseas French departments and territories (Reunion, Guadeloupe, Martinique) and foreign countries (Belgium, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Greece, USA, Canada).
Newspaper stands will be supplied until February 28th in continental France. The digital edition, available via smartphones and tablets, will be available in French on the Charlie Hebdo application starting Wednesday morning.
The newspaper will resume its weekly publication.
