Chief met officer accounts for morning rain in Minsk
Belarus' chief meteorologist Dzmitry Rabau gets in the rain as he left his umbrella at work.
The head of the Belhydrometeocenter says that all top officials have already asked him about the morning rain that wasn't in the weather forecast. According to Dzmitry Rabau, the atmospheric front became strained in the morning and the weather "played the trick".
Rabau: "I also got in the rain today - I left my umbrella at work, and the rain poured when I was half-way to the office. We have corrected the forecast and sent it to all our subscribers, including the media. However, the sky is getting clear and the temperature is rising. The red level of emergency preserves in Brest region, and the air temperature will be high all over the country."
He warns that the temperature will rise in the afternoon, in accordance with the updated forecast. It will reach 30-34 C. According to the meteorologist, it will become colder in the nearest week, including the weekend.
