Classic literature fan beats up his wife over Karenina

74-year old man has been given a three-year suspended sentence in Hrodna for
beating up his 67-year old wife.
The man said during the trial that he was outraged by his wife illiteracy because she thought that Anna Kern was Anna Karenina’s name before marriage.
