Court to hear Haidukou's "spy case" today and tomorrow in Vicebsk
Euroradio's correspondent has learnt this in Vicebsk regional court. The court officials provided no more information.
The trial against the youth activist form Navapolatsk started on June 12. The hearing is held in a closed regime. Even Haidukou's relatives and diplomats were not admitted. The youngster is accused of treason.
Andrei Haidukou was arrested on November 8, 2012 in Vicebsk. According to the KGB press-office, it happened when "he was making a recess, containing the information which may interest foreign secret services".
Haidukou worked at "Naftan" Navapolatsk as an operator, participated in several opposition actions and electoral campaigns, founded the "Young Intellectuals' Union" in Navapolatsk.
