Customs committee describes Russia's position on oil supplies as unilateral
Russia's position over the supplies of crude oil to Belarus is unilateral, Aleh Fyadotau who heads tariff department at the Customs Committee of Belarus told the Interfax news agency. "The logics of the Russian Federation are unilateral. So far, they are trying to tie export duties to the formation of the common economic space of Belarus Russia and Kazakhstan in 2012", he said.
From Belarus' point of view, in the conditions of the customs union of Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan there should be no import or export customs duties by default, reckons the official. He stressed that this is what Belarus bases its position on during negotiations.
