Darashkevich: I was detained by people who did not look like policemen
Yulia Darashkevich, a photo correspondent with Nasha Niva newspaper, will stand trial on March 24. She is charged with hitting a police officer during the February 16 action of solidarity on October Square in Minsk. On that day, some 30 people were detained, including Darashkevich. But the journalist was released on the same day without charges.
Talking to Euroradio, Yulia Darashkevich said she was not guilty.
