Democratic activists from all over Belarus are to give explanations
Policemen are phoning democratic activists living in different regions of Belarus asking them where they were on the night of July 4.
According to “Nasha Niva”, 5 activists were interrogated in Salihorsk – Ivan and Illya Shyla, Hrystsina Samoilava, Ryhor Astapenya and Alyalsei Valabuyeu. Ivan Shyla says that none of them was in the capital on that day. They were either in Salihorsk or abroad.
According to the press service of the Movement “For Freedom”, the flat of a Pinsk activist Pavel Lyahnovich has been searched today. Policemen and Minsk Office of Public Prosecutor informed that the search was being conducted in connection with the criminal case about the explosion that took place in Minsk on July 4. Gunpowder was confiscated from U.Lyahnovic, an amateur hunter.
KGB has started searching the flat of one of the leaders of the Union of Belarusians of the world “Motherland” Nina Shydlouskaya at 8 a.m. today.
Cherikov and Klimavichy police interrogated local journalists Syamyon Panizovets and Syarhei Arzhantsau about the accident in Minsk on Sunday. The district police officer also mentioned the explosion interrogating an Iuye UCP activist Mikalai Ulasevich.
