Elected leaders in Masty find no money for education, healthcare and culture

The deputies of the Masty district council have passed the 2010 district budget which saw funds for education, healthcare and culture significantly reduced. Only one deputy, Zmitser Kukhlei, voted against the budget. "During debates over the budget draft I spoke out against the reduction in funding for education, healthcare and culture. Besides, a huge debt to self-rule bodies was accumulated last year and it is supposed to be covered this year. The public money for this service is allocated with violations of the laws", he told the European Radio for Belartus.
