Elections: Opposition activist Franak Vyachorka seeks registration as candidate in Mazyr

Opposition activist Franak Vyachorka who currently serves in the Belarusian army has filed his paperwork for registration as a candidate for a seat in the Mazyr District Council.
On March 13, members of his nomination group Uladzimir Tselyapun and Vintsuk Vyachorka filed 94 signatures with the necessary 75 to the local electoral commission.Franak Vyachorka is currently undergoing medical checkups at a military hospital and was unable to file the documents personally.
