Emergencies ministry calls to clean snow from roofs to avoid collapse

Rescue ministry officials have called on members of the public to remove snow from the roofs of their houses, reports Interfax quoting Ruslan Habrylyou from the Homel Regional Department of Emergencies Ministry. Because of the thaw, roofs collapse under the weight of snow, On February 19 in the Homel region alone three such cases occurred, causing injuries to a man, a woman and a cow.
