First contest day to start at “Slavonic Bazaar” today

The festival contests starts at “Slavonic Bazzar” today. Young singers will be accompanied by Mihail Finberg’s National Belarusian Orchestra. They will continue competing tomorrow and will sing to a phonogram “minus one”. 12 singers have been selected in the semi-final out of 21. Representatives of Azerbaijan, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Israel, Khazakstan, Latvia, Macedonia, Croatia, Czechia and Estonia will not have an opportunity to perform. A Belarusian singer Vital Hardzei will sing today. He will be number “6”.
