George Bush urges to support freedom in Belarus

The United States supports freedom in Belarus. The US President George Bush made the announcement in an annual appeal to the congress. Our country was mentioned alongside with Cuba, Zimbabwe and Myanmar. Bush urged American lawmakers to support the programme of foreign assistance elaborated by his administration – “Challenge of the millennium”.

“This programme helps establish democracy and order in developing countries”, - noted the President of the USA.
