IMF accesses Belarus’ shock in connection with “oil war” with Russia

An IMF mission is going to conduct negotiations with the Belarusian authorities in connection with the changes in terms of oil import from Russia. They will also discuss the measures required to minimize the negative effects of the balance of payment and the stand-by programme. A resident representative of the IMF in Belarus Natallya Kalyadzina has informed “Interfax” about it. "We have not assessed the influence of the oil import changes in Belarus on the balance of payment. It will be done during the next mission”, - said Kalyadzina.
