Information about tortures to be checked by Military Prosecutor Office

made public.
The General Prosecutor’s Office has sent an official reply to Byalyatski today, on March 16.
The appeal was sent to Attorney General Ryhor Vasilevich at the end of February when former candidate Ales Mihalevich described tortures and brutal treatment in the KGB detention centre. Ales Byalyatski asked the Attorney General to react to it, to reveal the people responsible for it and to subject them to responsibility if they really had done the mentioned things, informs the human rights centre “Vyasna”.
