Investigators interrogate doctors at hospital after patient's death
The investigators work on the criminal case started a week ago after a patient's death at Vitsebsk regional children's clinic hospital.
As Euroradio informed before, the tragedy happened back on May 31. A two-months-old boy died at hospital. The law-enforcement agencies checked the incident and started a criminal case under the article "poor performance of professional duties by a medical worker which caused a patient's death". The article prescribes punishment in the form of up to 5 years of freedom restriction, or imprisonment with deprivation of the right to work at certain positions (or conduct certain activity).
Interfax-West informs that the investigators interrogated the doctors at the week-end, and took the necessary documents "to conduct complicated expertise". No more details have been revealed yet.
