Ivan Nikitchanka crashed driving along oncoming traffic lane

The road accident in which Ivan Nikitchanka, a correspondent member of the Belarusian Academy of Sciences and a civil leader, died, took place in the afternoon on November 19 near Maladzechna. BelaPAN was informed about it in Maladzechna police department. On November 19 at 14.45 Ivan Nikitchanka was driving his personal car "Volkswagen-Jetta" along the Minsk-Narach road to the direction of Maladzechna. At the 55th kilometer he went onto the oncoming traffic lane and crashed with a ZIL coming from the opposite direction.  

He arrived in Maladzechna municipal hospital at 15.30 on the same day and died without regaining consciousness on 1.50 in the night on November 20.
