Kalyakin: authorities had to use UDF’s anti-crisis programme

A meeting of the political council of the United Democratic Forces is taking place in Minsk today, on January 24. 28 members of the political council, representatives of regional democratic coalitions and diplomats are taking part in it.
According to the leader of the Belarusian party of the left “Fair Council” Syarhei Kalyakin, there is no alternative to the united democratic forces in the dictatorship conditions. He said that “the actions of those who are trying to destroy the platform of coordination of democratic forces’ activities were irresponsible”. At the same time Kalyakin claimed that it was necessary to improve the qualification of the UDF, correct the coalition’s strategy and expand the representation of organizations in the state organs.
Syarhei Kalyakin thinks that the authorities had to use the anti-crisis program worked out by the UDF, reports BelaPAN.
