Kozulin freed for three days to attend wife's funeral
Alexander Kozulin was last night ferried in a prison vehicle to his private apartment in Minsk, Igar Rynkevivh, the former lawyer to the political prisoner, told the European Radio for Belarus:
"The vehicle was driven by Lt Col Angnistsikau, the commander of the colony. Kozulin has been freed for three days on a temporary break. This was made possible thanks to the pressure from the members of the public and the international community. Alexander Kozulin said that there is a preliminary arrangement that his wife, Iryna Kozulina, will be buried tommorow, February 27".
The funeral service will take place today at the Red Cathedral in Minsk.
