Law “On mass media” may be adopted by House of Representatives tomorrow

The second reading of the law “On mass media” will be discussed by the House of Representatives tomorrow, on June 24. “Interfax” informed about it referring to Syarhei Shlopak, a member of the commission on human rights, national relations and mass media of the House of Representatives. According to him, the project contains some corrections added by the OCSE Office and the Belarusian Association of Journalists. Shlopak did not comment on the reason why the project was already being discussed despite the fact it had been added on the agenda of the autumn session.
