Left-wing parties inform who they will support at presidential election
The Belarusian left-wing forces are ready to support a presidential candidate sharing their election platform. The leader of the Belarusian United Left Party “Fair World” Syarhei Kalyakin has informed about it.
The platform stresses that left-wing, social-democratic parties and organizations are adherents of cardinal reforms in the Belarusian state.
Thus, the Belarusian left think it is necessary to switch to the parliamentary presidential form of administration with a strong government in the field of politics. The President should fulfill representative functions.
The left forces think it is necessary to restore the usual relations with foreign countries and inter-state structures in the field of foreign policy.
Speaking about the economy, the left think that it is necessary to increase the average wage to $1 thousand within the next few years.
BelaPAN informs that besides “Fair World”, the platform of the left forces has been signed by the Belarusian Social-Democratic Party (Assembly), the steering committees for the creation of the Belarusian Labour Party and of the Belarusian Women’s’ Party “Nadzeya” and the Free Metalworkers' Union.
