Lithuanian court convicts pro-Putin activists who crossed border from Belarus
A Lithuanian court has sentenced Konstantin Goloskokov and Anton Dugin, the activists with a pro-Putin youth pressure group who illegally crossed the border from Belarus, to 35 days of arrest. The Russians tried to reach Estonia but were denied visas by the government in Tallinn. The Belarusian border guards did not notice the boys who were eventually held in Lithuania. They faced up to two years in prison. The Russians will be deported back home after serving theit prison term.
