Lukashenka asks USA not to "devilize" him or Belarus

Aliaksandr Lukashenka has informed that Belarus is willing to keep good relations with the United States, in an interview to the American newspaper "Washington Post".

"We would like to have good relations with the United States, if this is your wish as well. However, we will never let anyone set some unreal tasks or conditions before us, and this includes the Americans, - Aliaksandr Lukashenka has said, BELTA informs.

The state leader has also asked not to "devilize" him or Belarus: "We are absolutely normal people. We are not worse than the Americans in any way. The situation, the life in our country is absolutely peaceful, everyone prays to his God and realises his national and political interests, and builds his life as he wants. We are a stable and peaceful country. And people do appreciate this", - he has underlined.

In the end, Aliaksandr Lukashenka has asked to tell the American people that the Belarusians really love and respect them. "We will never build an "iron curtain" so that they would be deprived of an opportunity to come to us", - he has added.
