Belarus arrests foreign spy: Lukashenka
Lukashenka says the busted former member of Belarus secret services worked for foreign intelligence.
Commenting on the situation with the ex-CIA contractor Edward Snowden, Alyaksandr Lukashenka stated that this problem was acute for Belarus as well.
"We arrested one of such traitors recently. He worked for the secret services and was connected with some foreign states through representatives of the Roman Catholic Church. He didn't just pass the information. People working abroad suffered from his activity," BELTA quotes Lukashenka as saying.
The head of state did not elaborate further on this case.
