Lukashenka congratulates Belarus on Victory Day
The state leader has reminded that our people paid a high price for the victory over Nazism.
Alyaksandr Lukashenka congratulated Belarusians on the 70th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War. He recalled the people who helped at the font and at home and mentioned partisans’ contribution. Lukashenka spoke about war victims and the high price the Belarusian people paid for the victory over Nazism.
"The outstanding heroism of the older generation in the wartime will be a moral guideline for our youth. The Victory allowed us to live in peace and work for the good of our Motherland,” the state leader said.
Lukashenka is paying a working visit to Moscow today. He will review the troops in Minsk on May 9.
