Mahileu activist detained for solidarity action

A civil activist Syarhei Nyahatsin has been detained in Mahileu in the lobby of his house today. He managed to inform Barys Buhel, a human rights activist, about it.

Nyahatsin was delivered to Lenin District Department of the Interior where a report for participation in the action of solidarity with the families of the missing Belarusian politicians in Mahileu on January 16 was drawn up against him.

Similar protocols have already been drawn up against civil activists Valyantsin Labachou and Natallya Shkadun, informs a human rights centre “Vyasna”.
