MEPs stand for further support of EHU
A number of MEPs have suggested rendering more support to the Belarusian students via participation in the European programs and financing European Humanities University, which is located in Vilnius, at the European Parliament's hearings on Belarus.
The Lithuanian MEP Laima Liucija Andrikienė: “I have received the SOS signal from European Humanities University, which is located in Vilnius, about possible financial problems for this year, and upcoming years as well...”
The President of the European Parliament Jerzy Buzek has underlined the necessity to continue support of EHU in his closing speech to the debates.
