Milinkevich talked about Belarus elections with European parliament's president
The leader of For Freedom movement, Alexander Milinkevich, met Hans-Gert Poetering, the president of the European Parliament, and Jacek Sariusz-Wolski, the head of foreign relations commission.
During the meeting, "the political and economic situation in Belarus, the outcome of parliamentary relations and the prospects to develop a dialogue between EU and Belarus were discussed".
Belapan reminds that on October 8 the European Parliament will discuss the situation in Belarus. A resolution on Belarus is expected to be passed on the same day.
