Ministry of Justice pronounces warning to BNF party for violation of democracy principles
The Ministry of Justice has pronounced a warning to the BFN party and has announced the special congress of May 29 to be illegitimate.
"In our opinion, such accusations of the oldest democratic party in the republic look cynical in a country where state institutions starting from the President do not act democratically”, - has noted the head of the party Alyaksei Yanukevich in an interview with ERB.
In his opinion, the warning is connected with pre-election pressure. If the party gets one more warning by the end of the year, its activities may be suspended.
By the way, the reason for the Ministry’s check-up was an appeal of a BNF member Uladzimir Malei sent to the Ministry of Justice.
