Minsk celebrates Victory Day and hockey championship opening (photo)
The Belarusian capital is celebrating two holidays on May 9.
The hockey championship has never been held in our country before. It drew a lot of attention after the festive manifestation dated for the Victory Day.
The first clashes have occurred between fans. Russia defeated Switzerland (5:0). A Russian fan ran onto the Swiss flag when the national anthem was being performed and started insulting the players. However, he was caught right away.
