Minsk City Executive Committee does not allow picket against Russian aggression
Minsk City Executive Committee has not allowed the Right Alliance to conduct a picket near the Russian Embassy on July 27. The leader of the organization Yuras Karetnikau has informed ERB about it.
The Right Alliance wanted to express a protest against the aggressive policy of the Russian Federation in connection with Belarus: the economical and political pressure exercised on the country and encroachment on the state sovereignty.
Officials explained the refusal by the fact that, according to the law on mass actions, it was forbidden to organize actions closer than 50 meters away from embassies and consulates.
