New speaker of House of Representatives to be elected in Belarus on October 11
The new Belarusian Parliament will gather for the first session on October 11. The parliamentary work groups of the sixth convocation will also be formed there. The Parliament administration will be elected and members of permanent commissions will be defined, BelTA reports.
Speaker of the House of Representatives of the fourth and fifth convocations Uladzimir Andreichanka has been re-elected MP. He may become the head of the Lower Chamber of the Belarusian Parliament for the third time.
The House of Representatives of the fifth convocation finished its work on October 6. The MPs adopted the draft budget 2017 and changes in the Tax Code during the last session.
