November 26 – World Information Day
It is marked according to a decision taken by the International Informatization Academy. Informatization in its broad sense is information circulating between people in a written or in any other way and the process of its circulation. Information has always been important for the humanity and people started paying special attention to it in the second half of the 20th century. Social progress and rapid development of science and technology contributed to it.
