Nyaklyayeu’s group demands to announce real number of collected signatures

Uladzimir Nyaklyayeu’s group has demanded that the Central Election Commission should correct the official information about collected signatures. According to the group, that the head of the CEC Lidziya Yarmoshyna presented incorrect information about the signatures collected by Uladzimir Nyaklyayeu on November 1. Ms. Yarmoshyna did not inform about the 32.5 thousand signatures collected by Nyaklyayeu in Vitsebsk Province at a meeting with journalists. The zero number of signatures collected by Nyaklyayeu’s group in Vitsebsk Province was announced both in the speech made by the head of the CEC and on the official web page of the CEC.

The politician sent his appeal to the head of the CEC on November 2. He demanded to correct the number of signatures collected in his support in Vitsebsk Province and to find those who were to blame for distributing false information and to correct the mistake. A human rights activist Raisa Mihailouskaya has informed ERB about it.

The mistake on the CEC web page has already been corrected. However, one more demand has remained:

Mіhailouskaya: “The appeal has probably been considered. However, the numbers should be announced the way it was done yesterday. Lidziya Yarmoshyna should do it”.
