Petkevich to negotiate cooperation deal with UNICEF
Belarus President Alexander Lukashenka on December 13 signed a decree to approve the draft of the General Agreement on Cooperation between Belarus and UNICEF as a basis for negotiations, the Belarusian president's press office told Belta news agency.
Under the decree, Natalya Petkevich, deputy head of the Presidential Administration, has been appointed as the chief negotiator. Lukashenka's press office explained that the deal was needed to create all the necessary legal conditions for the operation of UNICEF in this country.
