Relatives prohibited to pass postcards to KGB prison
Mothers and wives of the KGB prisoners came across such prohibition when they tried to pass "Day Of Homeland's Defender" postcards to their close people.
They brought postcards with funny pictures and signs "Hold On! We're Right Behind You!", "To My Beloved Husband", "To The Best Father In The World", "Don't Talk!" etc.
"We got really nervous as, in the situation when they received no letters whatsoever, these postcards have become a sort of substitution, a message which conveyed our feelings and emotions", - the wife of the presidential candidate Andrej Sannikau's representative Zmitser Bandarenka - Volha Bandarenka - has told to charter97.org.
The representatives of the KGB detention center informed that such postcards should be sent only via mail. Probably, they will reach their addressees with delays and censorship, like letters, starting from today.
