15 June - another “Revolution in social networks” action
People will gather in their main city squares and will stand or walk there. “Come, we need everyone” – says the coordinator of this Vkontakte group.
Euroradio has interviewed Vyachaslau Dzinayeu, organizer of the Vkontakte group “Revolution in Social Networks”, on the eve of one more action that will take place on June 15.
Euroradio: Will another action be organized in Belarusian cities tomorrow?
Dzinayeu: “It will, people will go out to Squares in all the cities on June 15”.
Euroradio: How many actions have you already held?
Dzinayeu: “It will be the third action and we can see serious progress. 100 people came to the first action following the example of Minsk. There were 500 people at the second action and we are sure that there will be more”.
Euroradio: You cover your actions only on the Internet, are you going to prepare printed materials?
Dzinayeu: “Leaflets are being distributed in Minsk. We are using all the available opportunities to make people act offline. There will be leaflets, stickers and graffiti if they are necessary. We will involve as many people as we can in this process. The country is in the state of an economic crisis and we should be asking questions”.
Euroradio: Different groups are appearing in social networks. One of them is going to organize a protest action on July 3, will you cooperate with it?
Dzinayeu: “We are conducting negotiations with all the protesting groups and we are coordinating our actions”.
Euroradio: Do you intend to cooperate with the opposition?
Dzinayeu: “The presence of the opposition could not be felt before the first action, however, serious changes are being made in this direction and I think it will become clear soon”.
Euroradio: Are you afraid of the opposition’s presence at this action?
Dzinayeu: “We have only one term for all the political forces we agree with – the scenario of the action should not change. We want everyone to go to the Square – we need everyone – we are not going to divide people into politicians and ordinary citizens. We need them all”.
