25 Belarusian hockey-players prepare to take part in World Cup (list)
The National team's main coach Kari Heikkilä has shortened the list of candidates for the trip to Helsinki and Stockholm.
Kiryl Hatavets and Alyaksandr Paulovich have been sent off the National team's training camp. The team will train in Slovalia till May 2.
The list includes: goalkeepers — Andrei Mezin ("Dynama", Minsk), Vital Koval ("Torpedo", Nizhni Novgorod), Dzmitry Milchakou ("Metallurg",Zhlobin); defenders — Uladzimir Dzyanisau, Aleh Haroshka, Dzmitry Korabau (all —"Dynama", Minsk), Pavel Charnavok ("Shakhtar", Salihorsk), Andrei Antonau ("Nyoman", Hrodna),Illya Kaznadzei ("Metallurg",Zhlobin), Victar Kastsyuchonak ("Automobilist", Ekaterinburg), Mikalaj Stasenka ("Severstal", Charapavets), Raman Hrabarenka ("Dramanville", Quebec); forwards — Andrei Mikhalyou, Dzmitry Myaleshka, Alyaksandr Kulakou, Alyaksandr Kutarau, Andrei Stas, Syarhei Drozd (all —"Dynama", Minsk), Andrei Kolasau ("Homel"), Kanstantsin Kaltsou ("Salavat Yulaev", Ufa), Andrei Stsyapanau ("Amur", Khabarovsk), Yauhen Kavyrshyn ("Severstal"), Mikhail Hrabouski ("Toronto Maple Leaves ", NHL), Alyaksei Uharau ("Torpedo", Nizhni Novgorod), Alyaksei Kalyuzhny("Avangard", Omsk).
The average age of the Belarusian national team players - 27.
Probably, brothers Andrei and Syarhei Kastsytsyns will join our team if their club "Nashville" fails to make it to the next round of the Stanley Cup.
