Belarus has about 80 websites on "black list", most are "extremist"
Their number has doubled since last autumn.
According to BelTA, there were a lot of pornographic websites on the list at first and now most of them are "extremist" Internet resources. Let us remind you that access to the websites is forbidden in state, educational and cultural institutions. Ordinary users can order Internet filtering if they need it.
There were 25 websites on the black list in October 2011. The online foreign currency exchange office "Prokopovich", Yauhen Lipkovich's livejournal blog, charter'97, "Belarusian Partisan', the website of the human rights centre "Viasna" and 20 pornographic and extremist websites are blacklisted now.
