A bird on Sun causes magnet storm (photo)
NASA's Sun observatory SDO "spotted" the image of a bird with long legs, which looked like a rooster or an ostrich, on the Sun disc.
This unusual photo appeared in the observatory's database on Friday, RIA Novosti informs.
Scientists say that in fact the "bird" image is a coronal hole, a relatively dark spot on the Sun. Usually magnet storms start in it, as it happened on Sunday.
