Communist party of Belarus to campaign against boycott
The pro-authoritative communists plan to place most of the pickets in Minsk, as many party members run for deputies in the capital.
According to the information provided by
Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Belarus Ryhor
Atamanau in a comment to BELTA, this will be anti-propaganda in response
to the urges of some political forces for the boycott of the election.
Let us remind you, the Young Front (registered in Czech Republic" and the
Belarusian Christian democracy actively campaign for the boycott. The UCP and
the BPF are most likely to recall their candidates before voting.
Some activists of the Communist Party are ready to stand in pickets starting
from Saturday, August 25. They plan to hand out leaflets, a CPB newspaper with
the pre-electoral campaign of the party published in it. The main aim of the
pickets is said to be campaigning for the party candidates. Besides, 21
candidates of the Communist Party run at the election.
