Drunk driver kills three people in Barysau district
He wasn't injured in the accident himself.
A driver of Citroen Xantia went to the wrong lane under Barysau and knocked down four pedestrians, threee of them died on the spot. An officer on duty of the state auto inspection's administration of the Interior Ministry of Belarus has informed this to BELTA's correspondent. The fourth pedestrian was sent to hospital. After the clash, the car drove into the road side ditch and hit a tree. The driver was not injured as a result of the road accident. It happened yesterday at 22.50 at M1 road. According to preliminary information, the driver was drunk. A criminal case has been started in this regard.
